Today is the start of Health and Fitness Week at St.Vincent’s and all children have been set a ‘Healthy Swap’ challenge. Instead of spending 30 minutes using technology, try to spend 30 minutes engaging in an activity that contributes to your health and fitness e.g. physical activity, spending times outdoors, socialising…then tell us all about it. You might inspire someone else to try and be more healthy and fit.

  1. I will come off my ps4 and do my home work instead. l am wanting to do my homework .

  2. This Saturday I will go outside and play. I think it will be very fun. I will go out for a run instead of playing with my toys.

  3. This Saturday, I will be skipping in the park with my mummy instead of taking photos with the phone.

    I will run in my garden instead of looking at football all the time on TV.

  5. Instead of playing on my ps4 I could go to the beach and play sand castle competitions or have a swim. I would also have an ice cream and eat lunch!

  6. On Sunday instead of watching TV I went swimming in an Olympic swimming pool!!! It was great fun and very healthy!

  7. On Saturday we got up very early and instead of playing on the ipad we caught a train to Broadstairs and had a healthy picnic and swam in the sea! It was very cold and lots of fun….

  8. On Sunday we got up early to go to a birthday party and I played in the garden all afternoon with my friends. I didn’t watch any TV all day long.
