This morning we were incredibly privileged to welcome esteemed author Anthony Horowitz to our school. He led an assembly for Key Stage 2 and answered our many question about his career, his inspirations and experiences as an author. He was very honest, entertaining and encouraging, reminding us all of the importance of working hard, following our dreams and reading lots of books. It was interesting to hear how many times he re-writes his stories-our teachers are always encouraging us to edit our own work! We are truly inspired. Thank you so much for coming to visit St. Vincent’s.

“I really enjoyed it. It was a great pleasure to have such a  famous author come to our school. He answered all our questions perfectly and gave us some top tips for how to become an author like he did. I am looking forward to reading his next Alex Rider book-including the story he was holding the manuscript for today!” CG Year 5
