Class 1 had a fantastic day of learning at the London Transport Museum today.

We experienced a poster art workshop where we learnt about old and new art work and posters used to advertise different ways of travelling.

The children then had the opportunity to design their own posters – these were really creative and one group came up with the brilliant caption: ‘Take the Bakerzoo line to Regents Park’.

After lunch we completed the stamper trail where we followed the map to different modes of transport. It was really interesting to compare transport in the past to transport today.

The children loved getting on board the trains and buses to explore what they were like.

Thank you to the parents for helping out!
