During the summer holidays we received a lovely letter and certificate from the Catholic Children’s Society, thanking us for our donation of £772 which was raised during our Lenten Appeal.
The letter stated: ‘Your support is so valuable and will make a real difference to the lives of the disadvantaged children and families we work with.
At the Catholic Children’s Society we often provide immediate emergency support for families facing a crisis in their lives. For example, one family were fleeing domestic violence and needed help getting a deposit to rent a new flat. We were able to provide this family with the immediate one-off support they needed to help them get back on their feet.
This is just one example of how your support is helping to make a direct and life-changing difference to the vulnerable families we work with. From all of us here at the Catholic Children’s Society, thank you very much for your support.’
