We are very proud to have once again been nominated for an ActiveWestminster Active School Award. This award is given to the school, academy or college  that delivers outstanding opportunities to keep their students active.

On Friday evening Mrs Duffy and Miss Coleman attended a glamorous ceremony at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Councillor David Harvey, Cabinet Member for Environment, Sports and Community introduced the evening which was hosted by Sky Sports presenter  David Garrido. The awards were then presented Commonwealth Gold medallist Ashley McKenzie and Olympic Gold medallist Constantine Louloudis MBE, who also competed in fun games against each other. St. Vincent’s was one of four schools shortlisted and althougb we sadly did not win, we were pleased that all our efforts in the area are appreciated.

Well done to Mrs Duffy for all her hard work as Physical Education (P.E.) Leader, to our Sports Ambassadors for their wonderful achievements and all our staff, parents and pupils who have been working hard to keep active. Fingers crossed for next year!
