Year 4 were treated to a wonderful trip to the Royal Albert Hall to watch Classical Spectacular. It was an incredible show were the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed some famous pieces of music. We were especially excited to hear the sounds that we had learnt in our workshop earlier this term.
Highlights include the Hall of the Mountain King, where all the children were humming along without realising; Land of Hope and Glory, where all school children in the audience used their yellow jackets as flags and waved them; The 1812 Overture, where they had real guns, cannons and indoor fireworks going off; The Can Can, where everyone was up on their feet dancing!
It was one of our best trips ever!
