We have had a very busy and exciting final week of term! We finished off our computing topic, where we learned all about filming videos, using different techniques and editing our work. It was great fun putting our skills into practice and seeing how professional our final videos looked. In DT, we also completed our truss bridges, and they turned out brilliantly. After the holidays, we’ll be evaluating our designs and thinking about how we could improve them even further.

Today, we spent time sharing our amazing homework from this term. We saw some fantastic Viking longships, incredible solar system models linked to our Science work on Earth and Space, and some thoughtful RE work too. It has been lovely to see how much effort everyone has put in and how confidently they were able to talk about their learning. We also enjoyed watching the pantomime together, which was lots of fun, and finished the day playing quizzes with our friends.

As we come to the end of term, I would like to say a huge thank you to families for all of your support, and very generous gifts. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe New Year. We look forward to seeing you all again in the new term
