On Tuesday 3rd February, the Pupil Chaplaincy Team and Green Team proudly hosted a Pyjama Day to raise funds for the development and refurbishment of our EYFS Courtyard Prayer Garden. This project began in September, when we recognised that the area could be better prepared as a dedicated space for prayer, worship, and mindfulness.
All pupils were invited to wear pyjamas for the day and donate £1 towards improving this special area within our school. As Pyjama Day fell on a Tuesday, it also coincided with our weekly Class Worship. The theme for the week focused on spontaneous prayer, and each class worked together to create a prayer for our school. These prayers will eventually be used to bless our Prayer Garden once it is complete.
