Our class assembly was amazing! This term, Year 2 have been learning all about Historical Heroes, and the children did a fantastic job bringing their learning to life.
Our Hero Headquarters explored the lives of Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole, Emily Davison, Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Elizabeth II and Rosa Parks. The children learned how these inspiring individuals worked hard to make the world a better and fairer place.
The main message of our assembly was that anyone can be a hero by showing kindness and helping to make the world a fair place for everyone.
The children sang beautifully, spoke confidently, and worked incredibly hard to learn their lines. We are so proud of their effort and enthusiasm.
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who supported learning at home, and a huge well done to our Year 2 children for such a fantastic assembly!
