As part of our schools to market project, Green Team had a fantastic day putting their entrepreneurial skills into action as they proudly made and sold their own delicious homemade produce.

The children in year 2 and green team worked incredibly hard to prepare jars of apple and beetroot chutney, along with a tasty strawberry compote. They showed great creativity by designing eye-catching posters to advertise their products and prepared tasty samples for customers to try before making a purchase.

Their hard work and enthusiasm certainly paid off, as they successfully sold every single one of their products! Throughout the day, the children demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills while confidently talking to customers about the produce they had created.

It was wonderful to see everyone working together towards a shared goal. The experience gave the children the opportunity to develop valuable business, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while celebrating the rewards of their hard work. We are incredibly proud of the Green Team’s fantastic achievement and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the project.

A huge thank you to all of our families for your incredible support. We are so grateful for the generous donations of jars for us to use and for supporting the children by purchasing their products. We truly couldn’t have done it without you all, and your encouragement helped make the day such a wonderful success.

Well done, Green Team!
