This week in Early Years, we created our very own community map! The children used their imaginations to think of, draw and colour different places within our community, including police stations, hospitals, playgrounds, schools and churches. It was wonderful to hear all of their creative ideas, from people riding bikes and walking their dogs to people out shopping. The children had lots of fun adding different details to our map, sharing their ideas and working together. We were so proud of the finished result – a brilliant, colourful and detailed community map that reflects the children’s ideas and understanding of the world around them!
