During Art Week, our classroom was bursting with creativity and colour! We explored the work of Barbara Hepworth and had lots of fun using clay to make our own sculptures inspired by her amazing shapes and designs. Everyone got stuck in, shaping and smoothing their creations with great care. For our class project, we worked together to make a beautiful flowery scene of an English summer garden using finger painting. Each fingerprint became a petal  and together they created a bright, cheerful masterpiece. It was wonderful to see how each child’s unique touch added to the final artwork. Art Week was a fantastic chance to try new materials, learn about famous artists, and enjoy making something special together. We’re very proud of what we made and can’t wait for you to see it!
