This morning Year 5 performed their brilliant assembly all about ‘Ancient Greece’.
They took us back in time to Ancient Greece. The gods wanted a new tv show featuring the greatest shows Ancient Greece ever inspired! We had the ultimate bake off between Sparta and Athens followed by Greece’s Got Talent featuring a boy band with a mathematician, a scientist and an epic poet! Then we were treated to Greek Gladiators and met some brave heroes. Finally we heard all about the wonderful things that Ancient Greece invented and many of them we still have today. There was excellent acting, singing and many jokes!
