In Religious Education, as part of our Reconciliation topic ‘Healing’, Year 6 have been learning about the  Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

Today, we visited St. James’ Church to see Father Philip to learn more about his experiences of administering the sacrament. Beforehand, we talked about what we would like to find out more about. As always, Year 6 came up with  excellent questions, that really showed both their learning and their interest in this topic.

Father Philip answered all of these questions and many more and we learned so much more about the sacrament.

Many thanks to Father Philip for your time.  We really appreciate you giving up your time and the effort that you went to, answering all of our questions and we are very grateful for everything that you do for our school.
