Despite this afternoon being our sunniest time yet, we all managed to get completely soaked!

First we had shelter building. We worked in teams and collected sticks to make our shelter. The shelter was really fun to build as we had to work together to find sticks that would fit on the outline of our shelter. The shelters were the tested for two things. We had a bear attack to test how sturdy the shelter was and then a huge rain cloud to test how waterproof they were. We then got scored on our shelters and had to include a door that was big enough for us to get in!

After that we put our wellies on and headed to the stream. We walked through the river, exploring the bank and getting very wet in the process! The final challenge was getting through the magic tree, which we managed but got very wet in the process as we could dunk ourselves in the pool. We then soaked Miss Siswick and Miss Carruthers and all ended up covered in some very muddy water!

We’re all currently enjoying a swim in the pool and shower to warm up! After dinner we’ve got one final visit to the tuck shop before we go to the highlight of the week: the pyjama disco! We can’t wait to dance together on our last night at Sayers Croft!
