Year 1 had a fantastic music lesson with Mr. Hylton this week!
We began with a fun warm-up before Mr. Hylton introduced the xylophones and clearly explained how to use them, making sure everyone understood. We then listened to A Sailor Went to Sea — some children already knew the song, while others recognised it from hearing their parents sing it, which was lovely to hear. We listened, sang, and danced along to the music. Afterwards, we used the xylophones to create a rhythm that matched the song. Year 1 were amazing and absolutely loved the experience!
