6 representatives from our Pupil Chaplaincy team were invited to the Adoremus Mass in Westminster Cathedral today to celebrate the end of Our Eucharistic Journey. Over 150 other schools attended!

Cardinal Vincent Nichols led the celebration. He reminded us that Westminster Cathedral is the ‘home’ of our diocese and this made us feel very welcome there. He also reminded us that when we take the Bread of Life, Jesus, we are at ‘home’ and that Jesus is our shelter from the storm.

The deanery folder for our diocese was displayed and blessed as part of the opening procession. This folder contains work from our lovely school and we are very proud to share it with the Cardinal.

We were also very pleased to see the Adoremus artwork created by one of our Year 5 pupils displayed in St Patrick’s Chapel. Well done, Laetitia!

At the end of the mass we were gifted a special Adoremus candle to take back to school with us. Thank you to the diocese for organising such a wonderful mass; we feel honoured to have been there.
