This morning, Year 3 had an exciting workshop ‘All About Paper’ led by Georgia.
Georgia works at Westminster City Archive centre, where collections of local, family and community history sources are kept.

Georgia talked to us about the history of paper and we learnt some interesting facts about how paper evolved. We found out that paper made out of plant like fibres was invented by the Chinese Cai LunĀ in 105 AD. We even had the chance to look at some parchment that Georgia had brought in.

Afterwards, we made our very own picture frames using some fun comics!
