Today we were very fortunate to welcome Clare Cogar from the Museum of London Archaeology to our school. Clare led an informative assembly for Key Stage 2 , telling us all about the archaeological dig of the Moxon Street Car Park. She explained the process to us, with photographs to illustrate her points (see below) and then explained their findings: foundation of houses, pieces of pottery and jewellery, such as hair clips. We had lots of questions! It was really interesting and we hope that Clare returns in the future when the artefacts have been cleaned to share them with us.
