We designed cupcakes of our faces, brainstorming the different ingredients we might need to make a cupcake similar to the ones we designed.
We then followed instructions and baked our cupcakes. After they cooled, we decorated them with chocolate buttons, sprinkles, icing, smarties and lots more yummy stuff!
Here is the recipe and maybe you can try to bake it at home with your parents!
Ingredients ( for 24 cupcakes):
115g caster sugar
115g self raising flour
115g margarine, room temperature
2 eggs, room temperature
1 vanilla extract
Icing in tubes
Sprinkles
Small chocolate chips
Method:
Prep:5min › Cook:15min › Ready in:20min
Set oven to 150 C / Gas 2.
Next just put all ingredients into a bowl then mix till smooth. Place cupcake cases in a muffin tin and spoon in the cake mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted in the centre of a cake comes out clean.
Leave to cool then decorate with icing.
