Today we enjoyed a special assembly and welcomed Father Christopher who blessed our school Holy Door which we have prepared for the Year of Mercy.
John 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
When the Holy Door opens, the things which prevent us having a close relationship with God are removed.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
Everyone who asks receives; everyone who searches finds; everyone who knocks will have the door opened. Is there anyone among you who would hand his son a stone when he asked for bread?
Or would hand him a snake when he asked for a fish? If you, then, evil as you are, know how to give your children what is good, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:7-11)
