Yesterday the Year 5’s visited the British Museum to listen to a presentation about the Maya civilisation. We found out about the ways they lived and found it interesting that they played one of the first types of football. We also investigated their number system and ways they dressed to show wealth and power. Lastly we were able to interpret parts of their ancient language by looking at a range of artefacts.
