Class 3 had a fantastic day exploring the Ancient Egypt galleries at the British Museum today! We started our day by attending a talk all about Egyptian Mummies. We learnt about the process involved in mummification and the importance of dehydration during these stages. We also found out how museum experts have investigated mummies in the past and the present and we got to look at some real x-rays!

After lunch, we had the opportunity to explore the museum and see an impressive range of artefacts as well as real mummies! We had a great day of learning and look forward to using our findings in class this week.

Thanks to the parents who supported us on our trip today!
