The Capoeira School(Centro Cultural Senzala de Capoeira) held its annual Batizado (grading) at St Vincent’s today. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from Capoeira masters from Europe and Brazil. Parents and carers watched their children take part in the grading and also learned more about Capoeira and Brazilian culture.
All 16 children who took part in the grading earned their first/next Capoeira belt. Mrs Gardner-Sharp was also awarded her first belt! Well done, everyone. You did a fabulous job.
