On Wednesday 11th November, Class 4 travelled to The Fulham Palace. This area was once lived on by the Romans! During our visit, we took part in a workshop where we had to become archaeologists. This mean that we were shown real life Roman artefacts and had to draw them, and work out what the original piece would have looked like. Thomas and Augustin managed to find two separate pieces that fit together perfectly like a jigsaw!

Next, we became slaves, and had to work hard to grind the corn to make flour, grind up different spices, and make different mosaics. Our final activity was dressing up as Romans and presenting different items to Emperor Gaius!

We had a wonderful day!
