The CREATE Art project at St Vincent’s is well under way and pupils have definitely developed some impressive photography skills. Each week the children rotate between taking photographs and making collages using their images.

This week we explored the local area and put our photography skills into practice. We had beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies which enabled the children to capture sharp and clear photographs.

Our focus for the session was to contrast concrete abstract buildings with nature. So far pupils have developed a range of photography skills including zooming, wide angle shots, experimenting with different settings (exposure modes) and finding a point of interest.

There has been some impressive work produced – please take a look at some of the creative photographs, all produced and edited by the children!
