Class three have worked very hard with their Design and Technology project this half term. During the planning process the pupils researched Egyptian boats and looked at the shape, design and materials used. From these findings the children then designed their own boats and selected the design they thought would be most suitable to construct.

During the making stage, the pupils followed their designs to support the process. They encountered some challenges along the way but were able to overcome these with their problem solving skills.

Finally the children evaluated their Egyptian boat. During this part the children thought carefully about the making process and what could be altered to improve the finished design.

We enjoyed displaying the finished Egyptian boats in our Egyptian Museum for our end of topic celebration!
