Year 6 enjoyed an informative first aid workshop this week.
We practised the CPR technique in dummies which is a lifesaving device to be used if someone wasn’t breathing.
We also learnt about the primary survey which is a quick way to find out how to treat any life threatening conditions a casualty may have in order of priority.
We learnt to use Dr ABC to do this: Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing and Circulation
