Green Team Competition

Earlier this month Green Team set a poetry competition for the school. We are very pleased to announce that the winner was Gabriella, Y6, who write a beautiful poem about God’s creations and she was awarded her special prize in assembly. Well done Gabriella!

The Wonderful things that God Gave Us

 

The warmth of the light

Makes the world so bright

Every time we have day and night

But we all still have sight.

All thanks to God’s wonderful creation.

The dry and lovely land

With lots and lots of sand

The bright blue sea

Goes with the tall green trees

All thanks to God’s wonderful creation.

The bright shining sun

That makes everything so fun

The white bright moon

Tells us that it is noon.

All thanks to God’s wonderful creation.

The healthy green plants

The tall green trees

The beautiful colourful flowers

Are all here to devour

All thanks to God’s wonderful creation.

The flying insects and birds

The crawling tiny bugs

The scary stinging bees

All live in the breeze

All thanks to God’s wonderful creation.

All of us was created

By the loving almighty God

And all of the animals was created

By the caring, wonderful God!
