St Vincent’s are brightening up everyone’s day by saying ‘Hello Yellow’.

Today is World Mental Health Day and we are joining with schools and companies to brighten up the country by wearing yellow and fundraise for YoungMinds to show young people they are not alone.

We loved seeing everyone with their hints of yellow (even Molly was in yellow!) and children did activities in class that celebrate what makes them special and what makes them happy, as well as thinking about their feelings and emotions.

Earlier this week, Year 6 made PowerPoints to share suggestions for how to look after your mental health which you can see here.

We are so lucky to all belong to our St Vincent’s family, and always try to help and support each other.

If you have any worries, then please come and speak to the teachers in your class, Miss Carruthers or Miss Coleman. We also have worry boxes in all our classrooms as well as our online worry box.
