Class 4 had a busy morning creating Ancient Chinese artefacts. We have been looking at the Shang Dynasty which was during the Chinese Bronze Age, and all their different pots. Today, we used clay to create our own ones. We even tried to include Chinese writing and animals to decorate our pots.
We then made our own ‘oracle bones’, which the Shang Dynasty used to predict the future or to make a decision. Global has been teaching us how to write in Chinese, and so we included these on our bones. Finally, we made our own Chinese dragons using collage technique.
All of our work will be on display at our Chinese Museum on 19th July, so pop the date in your diary and keep an eye out for more information!
