To start our topic all about the Romans, we have made some of the weapons that the Roman soldiers would have used. We learnt that they had three types of weapon; a gladius (sword), pilum (spear) and a pugio (dagger). We chose which weapon we wanted to make, and then used our resourcefulness to create it, using materials in the classroom.
