This week, our classes were lucky enough to visit our local bookshop, Daunt Books, to celebrate World Book Day. Each class enjoyed a trip to the brilliant shop to use their World Book Day tokens and choose a brand-new book to take home.
World Book Day tokens can be exchanged for one of the special £1 books created just for the event, or they can be used towards the cost of another book. This year’s selection included a fantastic range of stories that we were eager to read. The children loved browsing the shelves, sharing recommendations with their friends and carefully choosing the perfect book. We were so excited to start reading our new stories and celebrate the joy of books together!
