Father Christopher visited our school today and helped us with our preparations for Easter. He listened to confession for the Year 6 pupils and led a whole school assembly. We thought about our Lenten promises and remembered when we took them to the Ash Wednesday Service to be blessed. Father Christopher read the story of the Prodigal Son to us and we reflected on the importance message of forgiveness and how much Jesus loves us.
We then said the special prayer we learn when preparing for our First Holy Communion:
Oh come to my heart Lord Jesus,
There is room in my heart for you.
