Today, Year 6 visited the London Transport Museum to take part in a Junior Citizenship event.
In teams, we participated in a range of different workshops including fire safety, road safety, first aid, drug safety, money safety as well as safety when travelling on the bus and Underground.
We all learnt a lot more about keeping ourselves safe when we are out and about.
We are very grateful to the experts from Hope UK, MoneyReady, Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Service who led these informative workshops.

It was a very enjoyable trip, it wasnt my absolute favourite but i still liked it all the same. I learned a lot from the trip and my favourite part was learning about fire safety.
do not leave your phone charging while you sleep
I learnt how to be safe on transport.
I learned that a fire can brake down a door in 10 minutes and destroy the room in 8 minutes.
I had so much fun! My favourite bit was when we entered and looked at the flags!!! I learned that knife crime is the wielding or use of a knife.
Iv learnt a lot of interesting things of how to escape from a fire and not get scammed.
it was quite fun i learnt new things like “what you do in a fire scenario”and “how do you know if you are getting scammed”

I loved the trip so much . My favourite activity was when we talked to the police about knife crime . After the talk I felt safer as I was always scared about going to secondary school by my self .

It was amazing we learned how to identify scam emails and how to avoid crime scenes.

i thought that it was really a fantastic trip as they raised awarness about the streets and the dangers young people can accidently find.
On this trip, we learnt to not take drugs. We also learnt about different knife crimes.
