We had a brilliant time at the National Gallery.

A storyteller called Fiona guided us around the gallery, she told us that the gallery holds more than 2000 paintings! Fiona  told us two stories about just two of the many beautiful paintings we could see.

The first story was about Saint George and the dragon. The painting was more than 500 years old! In the Painting we could see Saint George defeating the dragon and rescuing the princess.

The second story was about Penelope and Odysseus. The painting showed us lots of different parts of the story, we could see Penelope weaving and the sirens calling the men into the sea.

Thank you again to all the adults who helped us today.
