Thank you to our committed Green Team for their continued efforts to improve our school. A big focus for a long time has been to try and reduce the amount of food waste . In the past we tried using it for compost but that wasn’t very successful so we investigated if it could be collected. The good news is that Westminster has a special food waste service and will now be collecting our waste every day. This costs money so we asked the St.Vincent’s Parents’ Association to help us and they kindly said yes. Today we went to their meeting to say thank you.
Please all remember to put any food waste-including fruit peel from playtime- into the correct bins! Together we can make a difference.
