This morning we took part in a road safety workshop called The Riot Act. It was all about keeping safe when crossing roads and keeping away from danger. We really enjoyed this engaging play which reminded us of how important it is to be responsible and safe when crossing roads.

Afterwards, we listened to some helpful tips for when we are near roads and busy traffic. We were reminded to not be distracted by technology, be alert and not be playing games with our friends. The performers also expressed that pollution can have an impact on our health highlighting that walking to school has positive impacts on the environment and ourselves but we need to remember to STOP, LOOK AND FOCUS when around cars and roads.

In class, we came up with some catchy slogans to help us remember what we learnt.
