Yesterday Gavin Williamson, the Secretary of State for Education, announced that as part of the country’s ongoing response to COVID-19, schools, colleges and early years settings have been asked to close to everyone except children of key workers and vulnerable children from Monday 23rd March. A full list of key worker categories will be published by the Cabinet Office later today. We will share this with you once this information is made available.  As an individual school we are unable to provide this reduced provision, but we will be working to ensure an alternative option is available. Further details on this announcement can be found here:  https://www.gov.uk/government/news/schools-colleges-and-early-years-settings-to-close

It is with a heavy heart that we confirm that St.Vincent’s will be closing at 15:15 tomorrow until further notice. The health and wellbeing of our community is our priority. Huge thanks are given to the staff team who have been here to the final day, providing a fun , enriched curriculum for as long as possible in these challenging circumstances-and we will continue to do so.

Throughout the period of closure we will be staying in touch with our St. Vincent’s family. We have already provided Home Learning packs for every child and from Monday we will be supporting your children with online learning. Look out for more information coming soon.

We look forward to seeing many of you again tomorrow. If you or your family is suffering at this time we send your our prayers and best wishes.
