Today the St. Vincent’s School Council attended the St. Vincent’s Parents’ Association (SVPA) Meeting. The School Council representatives thanked the SVPA for buying fruit for Key Stage 2 and told the parents about some of the work they had been doing recently with Mrs Gardner Sharp including fundraising by baking cookies with Daniele from Le Creuset and making jewellery & stockings to sell at the Christmas Fair. Each representative told the parents of some of the things they love about St. Vincent’s and then they made some suggestions for improvements, including a new Friendship Bench for the roof and napkins for lunchtime. The problem is that the School Council funds do not cover the full costs so the children kindly asked the SVPA for help. A vote was held and it was unanimously agreed that the SVPA would contribute some money to the School Council.

Thank you so much! We are very excited and look forward to telling our classmates!
