Today the Year 5’s went to Queens College and participated in a Forces workshop. They learnt about aerodynamics by creating paper planes and investigated water resistance by dropping different shaped objects into a beaker of water. Finally, they designed a parachute using bubble wrap, newspaper, cups and balloons with the aim to keep a raw egg safe when dropped from a height. There were lots of great ideas and collaboration from everyone!
