It was lovely to welcome Dr Huang, from the Normal University, Shanghai and Robert Wilne, National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (NCETM) to St. Vincent’s. They enjoyed a tour of the school, seeing the progression in the teaching of Mathematics from Nursery to Year 6 before observing a full lesson in Year 5 and participating in a Teaching Research Group activity. Our local Secondary School, St.Marylebone, is currently hosting a visit by two Shanghai Maths teachers and they will be disseminating this good practice through the Maths Hub.
