For our class worship today, Year 6 and Year 2 worshipped together.
Year 6 led the Year 2 children by reading them the Gospel and explaining the meaning of Christ the King. The Year 6 children then asked some questions to help all the children think more deeply about the Gospel reading. We then all ended by praying Pope Francis’ 5 Finger Prayer.
It was a really special time of worship and reflection together.
I loved spending time with the year 2 class. It was so fun doing class worship with them! We read the Gospel and did the five finger prayer.

It was so fun to be a teacher!! I got to do the index finger in the five finger prayer. We had such a fun time together , we also read the gospel and asked questions.

It was really fun sharing class worship with year 2 because they looked very interested and they gave really good answers and it sounded like they realy thought about their answers.

I really enjoyed this activity with Year 2! I was doing the first bit of the Gospel, and since Amber wasn’t here, I also did the ring finger for the Five Finger Prayer. It was last minute, but I still made it!
