In Year One, we have been reading and writing very silly sentences!

We have to think of a noun, a verb and even an adjective to make our sentences super- duper silly.

In one sentence building activity, we read our super silly sentences out loud before writing them down. Of course, we had to remember to use a capital letter at the start of our sentence and a full stop at the end! We then shared our sentences with the class by reading them out loud.

As you can see from the photos below, we just could not stop laughing at our silly sentences (Elsa even fell off her chair laughing)!

At the end of the day, we read books from our book corner and looked for super sentences!
