Yesterday morning, netball club welcomed former Olympic sprinter Jeanette Kwakye and took part in a film production to promote netball during National School Sports Week!
It was such a fantastic opportunity; the children were filmed explaining the rules and demonstrating the correct techniques for footwork, passing and shooting. After explaining the rules the children showed netball in action; they were filmed playing a match and demonstrated amazing skill and teamwork!
The children were so enthusiastic and promoted netball brilliantly! After the success of England at the Commonwealth Games it was great to be part of such an inspiring project! We can’t wait to view the finished film!
