This morning we were privileged to welcome Mr Wilkins, Assistant Head of Queen’s College, who is also a member of the St.Vincent’s Governing Body, who came to talk to Years 5 and 6 about politics. This was a great introduction and helped us to understand some of the issues facing our country at the moment. We were also able to share some of our knowledge with Mr Wilkins. At the end of the assembly we participated in some voting ourselves and decided that we agree that we are not yet of an age where we should be allowed to vote in a general election! Thank you for coming to speak to us and we hope you come back in the future to teach us more.
