Today we were very lucky to welcome Councillor Karen Scarborough to St Vincent’s. She took the time off her busy schedule to teach us about what her job as a Marylebone ward councillor entails, prioritising the well being of the community for example by planting flowerbeds in Marylebone. For our school she helped us get money to build our scooter park and she helped us to get the nearby zebra crossings. Her great contribution in helping the homeless people by providing food and work for them really inspired us to implement more charitable work in the school council in order to help worthy causes and make a difference in our society. We enjoyed hearing about what a governor does-it was very interesting. Thank you for coming!
