In the Nursery, we have been very busy with our fabulous new topic of ‘Under the Sea’. We have made a special book area and are trying hard to keep the ‘Under the Sea’ books in their special place. Our favourite book is ‘Commotion in the Ocean’  by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz because it tells us about lots of different sea creatures. We have learnt about and made turtles, starfish, seahorses, fish, jellyfish and crabs and our classroom is looking like an underwater grotto!

We would love it if you would go to our ‘Under the Sea’ blog to tell us more about different creatures that live under the sea.

Every week, we are making aquariums in groups. We will be going to the London Aquarium on Friday 12th February to see lots of real under the sea creatures. We don’t need to be scared though because as Clay told us all, “They can’t get you because they are behind glass!”
