On Tuesday 19th January, 18 children from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Westminster Athletics tournament. We competed against 11 other schools in track and field events including long jump, javelin, speed bounce, chest push and various relay races. We came first out of all of the schools in the vertical jump and the 6 lap ‘Paarlauf’ events and came 7th overall.
Congratulations to all of the children who took part in this event. You were excellent representatives for St Vincent’s, showing off your athletic skills as well as resilience and good sportsmanship. Well done!
