We had a lovely Art afternoon with Guy and Patrick’s Mum creating our Auction masterpiece!
We focused on the artist Claude Monet and the famous oil paintings ‘Water Lilies’.
Firstly the children sketched lily pads and then used oil pastels and watercolour paint to add texture and details. After that the children made a block print of a lily shape design. Finally the children made a print of a lily and finished by adding in some extra details with paint.
It was impressive to see the range of colours and patterns created.
The children learnt lots of Art techniques. Many thanks to Guy and Patrick’s mum for a fun, creative Art session.
